Organizers of Currents of Change are honored to announce that renowned American Indian poet, playwright, artist, essayist and novelist, N. Scott Momaday, will open this final national signature event of the Lewis & Clark Bicentennial by keynoting The Stories We Tell: A Symposium, on
Wednesday, September 20, 2006. Officials are also excited to announce that the Native American blues-rock band Indigenous will headline the Riverfront Extravaganza on Saturday, September 23, 2006, to officially close the three-year bicentennial commemoration.
